CHILD NUTRITION

Our Child Nutrition department has actively worked for so many years. Ministry of Health reported that children that dies across South Sudan in this age due to malnourishment are below 5%.

This is a huge improvement compared to the years when we were under Arab Oppressive regime and the infamous 1998 famine.

• To promote health and proper growth for your child, we deliver the following services:

• Clinically managing complications and other diseases affecting a malnourished child

• Advising mothers on properly feeding the children.

• Setting up demo gardens with various fruits and vegetables to teach the community of valuable nutrients in foods.

• Distributing seeds to the mothers to be able to set up their gardens after they have finished attending our training in demo gardens located within the hospital.

• Creating awareness among fathers and breastfeeding mothers on benefits of proper breastfeeding techniques of the babies.
